A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF
SEVENTY-FIVE MICROSOFT OFFICE 2010 SOFTWARE LICENSES FROM
SHI INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION BY PIGGYBACKING THE UNITED
STATES GENERAL SERVICE ADMINISTRATION CONTRACT FOR
GENERAL PURPOSE COMMERCIAL INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
(EQUIPMENT, SOFTWARE AND SERVICES); AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Village Administration is recommending the purchase of Microsoft Office 2010
software licenses from SHI International Corporation by piggybacking the terms and pricing
established by United States General Services Administration Contract for Commercial
Information Technology(Equipment, Software and Services) (Contract No. GS-35F-0111K); and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the acceptance of a proposal from SHI
International to provide seventy-five software licenses for Microsoft Office 2010 by
piggybacking the terms and pricing established in the United States General Services
Administration Contract for Commercial Information Technology (Equipment, Software and
Services) (Contract No. GS-35F-0111K) at a total cost of$18,747.75, with funds payable from
Village Account No. A5004-66415.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
