AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, ADOPTING AMENDMENTS TO THE
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT
COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING AND LAND DEVELOPMENT ACT, AS
AMENDED, BEING SECTIONS 163.3161 ET. SEQ., FLORIDA
STATUTES; ATTACHING AS EXHIBIT "A" A COPY OF THE
AMENDMENTS; PROVIDING A CONFLICTS CLAUSE, A
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 163.3161, et.
seq., Florida Statutes, the Local Government Comprehensive
Planning and Land Development Act, and a Stipulated
Settlement Agreement with The State of Florida, Department of
Community Affairs, dated 30 July 1990 the Village of North
Palm Beach is required to adopt amendments to the
' Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, on 24 September 1990, the Village
Planning Commission,sitting as the Local Planning Agency,
held a Public Hearing to review the Stipulated Settlement
Agreement. and on 24 September 1990 at its regular meeting,
made a recommendation to the Village Council to approve the
Stipulated Settlement Agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED SY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1: Pursuant to the provisions of the
Local Government Planning and Land Development
Act, Section 163.161 et. seq., Florida Statutes, the Village
' of North Palm Beach, Florida, hereby adopts the amendments to
the Comprehensive Plan of the Village of North Palm Beach,
Florida. A copy of the amendments is attached hereto and

made a part hereof as Exhibit "A".
Section 2: All ordinances or parts of
' ordinances 1n conflict herewith are repealed.
Section 3: Should any section or provision of
this ordinance or any portion thereof be declared by a Court
of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall
not effect the remainder of this ordinance.
Section 4: This ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon passage.
