AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA IN ORDER TO MAKE THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP CONSISTENT
WITH THE 1989 VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA COMPREHENSIVE
PLAN; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the 1989 Village of North Palm Beach, Florida
Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Map Series establishes Planning
Areas within the Village;
WHEREAS, Planning Area 1 consists of all of John D. MacArthur
State Park, Little Munyon Island and surrounding waters, as shown
in Figure 3-2, Planning Area 1, Future Land Use Map, Future Land
Use Map Series, 1999, North Palm Beach, Florida;
WHEREAS, the land use category for John D. MacArthur State
Park is CON, Conservation/Open Space;
WHEREAS, the Official Zoning Map must be consistent with the
Future Land Use Map Series of the 1989 Village of North Palm Beach,
Florida Comprehensive Plan,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Official Zoning Map of the Village of
North Palm Beach, Florida is hereby amended as follows:
The Zoning District designation P, Public District, in
Planning Area 1 shall be changed to C-OS, Conservation
and Open Space District.

Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon passage.
