AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FIARICIA, AMENDING
SECTION 6-123, OF THE VILLAGE CODE BY REQUIRING STREET NUMBERS OF A MINIMUM SIZE
TO BE PLACED ON THE REAR OF COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FIARILIA:
Section 1. Section 6-123 of the Village of North Palm Beach Code is
hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 6-123. Street numbers required.
(a) Every building in the Village shall have its street number so
affixed to the building or premises upon which the building is located that it
is both visible and legible from the public street.
(b) Every commercial building with a wall facing an alley shall have
each individual tenancy street number affixed to the building above or next to
the rear door serving each tenancy so that the number is both visible and
legible fran the alley. The street numbers shall be reflective.
(c) All street numbers shall be a minimum of three inches (3") in
height and shall be a sharply contrasting color with the building.
(d) It shall be the duty of the owner of the building to maintain the
numbers on the building in good condition.
Section 2. All building numbers required by this section shall
conform to the provisions of this section within ninety (90) days of
the effective date of this ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
passage.
