41) A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, ADOPTING AN AMENDED AND
UPDATED BUILDING PERMIT FEE SCHEDULE; AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, through the adoption of Ordinance 2012-01, the Village Council repealed
Ordinance No. 2006-21 establishing the building permit fees within the Village to allow the
Village Council to adopt and amend the building permit fee schedule by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of an amended and updated
building permit fee schedule is in the best interests of the residents and citizens of the Village of
North Palm Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby adopts an amended and updated building permit fee
schedule, as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect on January 23, 2012.

Refund of building permit fee:
Refunds requested due to applicant error or canceling a permit(all conditions must be met);
1. Only a 50%o refund can be granted.
2. Permit must not be expired.
3. When no work has occurred or commenced on the project(verified by the building inspector)and elan review has
processed the application.
4. Request must be in writing,addressed to the building official.
5 Plan review fees are not subiect to refund.
