AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, ADDING A CHAPTER TO THE VILLAGE CODE CONCERNING FEES
AND COSTS FOR CHANGES TO THE VILLAGE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN.
' BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA':"
. Section 1. That the Village of North Palm Beach
Code is hereby amended by adding a new Section, to be numbered
Section 41-1 through 41-4 of the Village Code, which said
section shall read as follows:
`Section 41-1. Enactment and Authority. Pursuant to
Chapter 163, Florida Statutes, the Village of North Palm Beach,
Palm Beach County, Florida, does hereby ordain and enact into
law these additional requirements for amendments to the Village
Comprehensive Plan.
Section 41-2. Jurisdiction. These regulations shali
' govern all Petitions to amend the Village Comprehensive Plan.
Section 41-3. Fees. All Petitions to amend the
Village Comprehensive Plan of the Village of North Palm Beach
shall be done by application to the Village Council. The
application to the Village Council may be made by any owner of
property located within the Village. Such application shall be
filed with the Building Department of the Village, which shall
transmit the same, together with all legal descriptions,
ownership information, requested .change to the Comprehensive
Plan, etc., to the Village Council. Any such application must
be accompanied by a filing fee of $ ioo. and shall be
conditioned upon the applicant paying all the Village's costs
for legal advertising for the proposed Comprehensive Plan
' amendment, as well as any other coats specially incurred by the
Village of North Palm Beach to process the petition.
Section 41-4. Advice of Planning Commission. Prior
to considering an amendment to the .Comprehensive Plan of the
Village, the Village Council shall seek the advice of the
Planning Commission of the Village of North Palm Beach.•
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon passage.
