Mayor Marks reconvened the Workshop Session of August 23, 1990 at
5:32 p.m. All members of the Council were present except for Vice
Mayor Gardner and President Pro Tem Pierman, who were out of the
state.
RECOMMENDED CHANGES TO COUNTRY CLUB RULES AND REGULATIONS.
Discussion was held concerning changes to the Country Club Rules
and Regulations, as recommended by the Country Club Advisory Board.
Some revisions were made, and changes as revised will be placed on
the Regular Session agenda of September 13, 1990.
MGA SUNDAY SCRAMBLES.
~ Discussion was held concerning a recommendation of the Country Club
Advisory Board that all MGA Sunday Scrambles be denied and the
requested team play dates for October 18 (Thursday) and January 17
(Thursday) be moved to October 15 (Monday) and January 14 (Monday).
This item will be placed on the Regular Session agenda of September
13, 1990.
CODE SUPPLEMENT - MUNICIPAL CODE CORPORATION.
Discussion was held concerning a budget amendment for reformatting
copies of the code supplement. This item will be placed on the
next Workshop Session of September 13, 1990 for further discussion.
CODE AMENDMENT - CHAPTER 5, ARTICLE III, DIV. 4 - DOCKS AND PIERS.
Discussion concerning amendments to Sections 5-81 through 5-92 of
the Village Code regarding changes to the configuration of docks
and piers in Lake Worth. This item will be placed on the Regular
Session agenda of September 13, 1990.
BUDGET APPROPRIATION TRANSFER.
Discussion was held concerning appropriating a line item for
Machinery & Equipment - Country Club Golf Course, for purposes of
~ purchasing token machine for Driving Range. This item will be
placed on the Regular Session agenda of September 13, 1990.
SIGN PERMIT APPEAL - PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION.
Discussion was held concerning a request from representatives of
Sun Bank, North Palm Beach, appealing the Planning Commission's
recommendation on the Sun Bank application. This item will be
placed at the front of the Regular Session agenda of September 13,
1990, with the recommendation by Council that the Planning
Commission be present.

Mayor Marks called a Village Council Executive Session for Tuesday,
September 4, 1990 at 5:30 p.m. in the Conference Room.
