VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA

Mayor Marks called the Budget Workshop session to order at 7:00
p.m. All members of the Council were present, except the Village
Manager, who was out of the country.
The Council resumed their review of the proposed budget for Public
Services. The following changes were made:
Street Maintenance - A7321
33190, Other Professional Services, changed from $22,500 to $5,000,
allowing for Drainage Study.
Vehicle Maintenance - A5522
35213, Shop Supplies, changed from $3,500 to $2,500.
Parks Maintenance - A8023
11300, Part-time pay, changed from $8,640 to $4,800.
11400, Overtime pay, changed from $1,600 to $1,000.
34340, Solid Waste Disposal, changed from $16,450 to $8,950.
34627, Marina, changed from $6,000 to $12,000.
Council then addressed the proposed budget for General Services,
(A5509) and made the following changes:
34210, Postage, changed from $20,400 to $18,000.
34340, Solid Waste Disposal, changed from $1,700 to $900.
34620, R & M-Building, changed from $6,205 to $505, allowing for
vertical blinds ($105), and sanitary napkin machine ($400).
34680, R & M-Streets, changed from $9,000 to 0.
35214, Bldg. Maintenance Supply, changed from $4,500 to $1,200,
deleting Village Hall paint and leaving $200 for refinishing
shutters in the Detective's room.
35216, Irrigation Supply, changed from $250 to $150.
35217, Machine Supplies, was changed from $2,025 to $1,213.
35222, Sod, (new line item to be created), $1,000.
35223, Fertilizer, $250.
35270, Custodial Supplies, changed from $1,000 to $900.
~„ 66210, Major Renovation (Porch & Shutters) changed from $29,400 to
0.
There being no further business to come before Council, the meeting
adjourned at 10:00 p.m.
