07-09-1990 VC WS-MMINUTES OF RECESSED WORKSHOP SESSION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA HELD THURSDAY, JUNE 28, 1990 RECONVENED MONDAY, JULY 9, 1990 Present: V. A. Marks, M. D. Mayor Jerry G. Gardner, Vice Mayor ''~` Judy M. Pierman, President Pro Tem Manny Grinn, Councilman Dennis W. Kelly, Village Manager George Baldwin, Village Attorney Kathleen Kelly, Deputy Village Clerk Absent: Al Moore, Councilman Dolores Walker, Village Clerk ROLL CALL Mayor Marks reconvened the Workshop Session of June 28, 1990 at 5:30 p.m. All members of the Council were present except for Councilman Moore, who was out of the state. Dolores Walker, Village Clerk, was also out of the state. HARBOUR POINT MARINA. Mr. Larry Smith, Attorney, and Mr. Jeff Gapstur, Architect, were present for discussion regarding the Harbour Point Project. This item will be placed on the Regular Session agenda for first reading on Thursday, July 12, 1990. PROPOSED CONTRACT AMENDMENT - JONGENEEL AND JANSEN. Discussion was held concerning amending Jongeneel and Jansen contract to define demised premises to include portion of pool deck for poolside parties and activities from the restaurant. Councilman Gardner questioned the rumors concerning Jongeneel and Jansen not renewing their contract in 1991. This item will be placed on the Regular Session agenda on July 12, 1990. COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATION MATRIX. Discussion took place concerning the implementation of a Comprehensive Plan/LDR matrix by Jim Fleischmann of Land Research Management, Inc. Also discussed was the feasibility of the matrix being done by Public Services. This item will be placed on the Regular Session agenda of July 26, 1990. SURPLUS ASSETS - NPBCC GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE DIVISION. Discussion was held between Council and Bill Lanthier, Golf Course Superintendent concerning surplus equipment and the disposal of such. This item will be placed on the Regular Session agenda of July 12, 1990. APPRAISAL AND PURCHASE OF ANCHORAGE PARK, INCLUDING GARAGE AND LP ,,,,,, GAS TANK SITE . After discussion of the urgency of this item of business, it was agreed by Council to consider the acquisition of Anchorage Park at a later date. Mayor Marks announced that Council will meet in Executive Session at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, July 12, 1990.
