ROLL CALL
Mayor Marks called the Workshop Session to order at 10:25 p.m. All
members of the Council and staff were present, with the exception
of Vice Mayor Gardner, who was out of the state.
BILL NO. 617 - AMENDING THE NPB GENERAL FUND BUDGET FOR FY 1989-90
- SUMMER SCHOOL CROSSING GUARDS' SALARIES.
A discussion was held concerning Bill No. 617, a proposed ordinance
amending the NPB General Fund budget for Fiscal Year 1989-90 by
appropriation transfer from Council Contingency for summer school
crossing guards' salaries. This item will be placed on the regular
~ agenda for June 28, 1990.
STIPULATION AGREEMENT - COMPREHENSIVE PLAN.
This item was listed as 6 d on the agenda, but was moved forward
for discussion. The Village Attorney, George Baldwin, stated that
this item should be drawn up as a resolution, rather than an
ordinance. The resolution will be drafted, and will be placed on
the regular agenda for June 28, 1990.
AUDIT PROPOSAL.
A discussion was held concerning the selection process for
selecting auditors for performing the annual Village audit. Four
audit firms were present and made brief statements to the Council.
After ranking their choices, the Council agreed to begin
negotiations with the top three firms, starting with Presas and
Haas. This item will be placed on the workshop agenda of June 28,
1990.
COUNTRY CLUB STUDY COMMITTEE REPORT.
After a brief discussion, it was agreed by Council to hold a
special meeting in August to discuss the report submitted by the
,,._, Country Club Study Committee.
Due to a curfew of 11:00 p.m., the remaining items will be placed
on the next workshop agenda on June 28, 1990.
The meeting was adjourned at 11:00 p.m.
