Walker, Village Clerk Kathleen Kelly, Deputy Village Clerk ROLL CALL Mayor Marks called the Workshop Session to order at 8:42 p. m. All members of the Council and staff were present. BILL NO. 601 - SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS. Placement of this item was changed to follow the LDR~ Consistency Report. BILL NO. 602 - AMENDING NPB GENERAL FUND BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 1989-90 -SHUFFLEBOARD COURTS. r~ A discussion was held concerning Bill No. 602, an ordinance amending the NPB General Fund budget for Fiscal Year 1989-90, by appropriation transfer from the Council Contingency for resurfacing the six existing shuffleboard courts. The price quoted for this resurfacing was $2,700, and will be placed on the agenda of May 24, 1990 for first reading. LDR CONSISTENCY REPORT. Dr. Tom Kelsey was present to discuss and answer questions regarding his report on the consistency between the Comprehensive Plan and the Land Development Regulations. After a lengthy discussion, it was agreed to place this item on the agenda of May 24, 1990. BILL NO. 601 - SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS. Bill No. 601 and Item 3.b of the Workshop were removed from the agenda. A Special Workshop was scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 1990 in the Conference Room to address both the amendments to subdivision regulations and other proposed amendments to Village Code as required by State Law to make Land Development Regulations consistent with the Comprehensive Plan. LEGAL ASSISTANCE - GLADWIN CASE. Mr. Barry Byrd introduced himself to members of Council and briefly stated his credentials. The hiring of Mr. Byrd to represent the Village in the Gladwin case will be placed on the regular session agenda of May 24, 1990. LABOR NEGOTIATOR. Messrs. Borax and Sheffield were present, and each addressed members of Council and stated their credentials and interest in the position of Labor Negotiator for the Village. Both submitted their contract proposals to Council. After brief questioning of each applicant, Council agreed to place the Mr. Borax' contract proposal on the Regular Session agenda of May 24, 1990. GOLF COURSE RULE CHANGES. A discussion was held concerning amending the Rules and Regulations for the golf course. Council was in agreement that the Village Manager, in conjunction with the Country club Advisory Board, should present his recommendations to the council. REQUEST FOR COUNTRY CLUB MEMBERSHIP REFUND. '"'~ A lengthy discussion was held concerning a request by Mr. and Mrs. Wally Schulle for a refund of his club membership fee. A total refund for Mr. Schulle will be placed on the regular session agenda of May 24, 1990. ADJOURNMENT The meeting adjourned at 11:00 p.m. Deputy Village Cler
