Mayor Marks called the Workshop Session to order at 6:50 p.m. All
members of the Council and staff were present with the exception of
President Pro Tem Judy Pierman, who was out of the State.
Mayor Marks called a Special Meeting for 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May
8, 1990 to discuss certain Country Club matters.
ADVISORY BOARD - SEACOAST UTILITY AUTHORITY AND UTILITY OPERATION.
A discussion was held concerning the establishment of an advisory
board of five members to overview and report back to Council on
Seacoast Utility Authority and utility operation. Vice Mayor
Gardner and Councilman Grinn were in favor of moving this item to
the next regular agenda; Mayor Marks and Councilman Moore were
opposed. No action was taken on this item.
Due to a curfew of 7:30 p.m., it was agreed that the remaining
items of business would be placed at the beginning of the next
Workshop session of May 10, 1990.

The meeting adjourned at 7:33 p.m.
