Mayor Pierman called the Workshop Session to order at 9:15 p.m.
All members of the Council were present.
REVIEW OF ANNUAL AUDIT FOR FISCAL YEAR 1988-89
Mr. Harry Harrell of Ernst & Young conducted a review of the
Comprehensive Annual Financial Report. The report will be edited
and brought back to Council. Mr. Baldwin will check the contract
for a correct interpretation of completion date to determine if the
report was completed by Ernst & Young within the contracted time
frame, and if not, what penalty has been incurred.
BILL 594 - FAMILY DAY CARE HOME ORDINANCE
Discussion was held concerning Bill No. 594, a proposed ordinance.
~• amending Chapter 17 of the Village Code, Licenses and Miscellaneous
Business Regulations, to delete the requirement for an occupational
license for a Children's Nursing Home and to create an occupational
license for a Family Day Care Home. This bill will be placed on
the regular session agenda for March 22, 1990.
INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT - AMENDMENT TO 911 TELEPHONE SYSTEM
Discussion concerning the adoption of the Interlocal Agreement
Amendment to the 911 Telephone System was postponed to the March
22nd workshop session agenda, at which time Clay Walker will be
present to give a detailed explanation.
BILL NO. 595 - CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD - ORDINANCE UPDATE
A discussion was held concerning Bill No. 595, a proposed ordinance
amending Article VI, Code Enforcement Board, of Chapter 2 of the
Code of Ordinances of the Village in order to bring said Article VI
into compliance with Chapter 162 of the Florida Statutes. This
Bill will be placed on the regular session agenda for March 22,
1990.
