A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL
SUBMITTED BY INTERNATIONAL GOLF MAINTENANCE FOR GOLF
COURSE MAINTENANCE SERVICES AND AUTHORIZING THE
NEGOTIATION AND EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT RELATING TO
SUCH SERVICES; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on July 25, 2007, the Village advertised a Request for Proposals ("RFP") for Golf
Course Maintenance Services; and
WHEREAS, the Village received four sealed proposals and each ofthe proposals were evaluated
by members of Village Administration and a representative of the Nicklaus Group based on
fmancial responsibility of the respondent, proven skill and experience, ability to perform the
contract in a timely manner and other matters; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council wishes to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to,
and in the best interests of, the Village and residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council of the Village ofNorth Palm Beach, Florida, hereby accepts
the proposal submitted by International Golf Maintenance in an amount not to exceed
$1,282,098.00, to be expended from Village Account Nos. in L8045 (Golf Course Maintenance.)
Section 3. The Village Council further authorizes Village Administration to negotiate an
agreement with Intemational Golf Maintenance for the performance of these services. Such
agreement shall be substantially in the format s~ forth in the RFP.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
