11-14-1991 VC WS-MMINUTES OF WORKSHOP SESSION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA HELD THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 14, 1991 Present: Jerry Gardner, Mayor Judy M. Marks, M. D. , President Pro Tem ROLL CALL Mayor Gardner called the meeting to order at 9:45 p.m. All members of Council were present except President Pro Tem Marks, who was out of the state. All members of staff were present. RESOLUTION REPEALING ARTICLE VII OF COUNTY CHARTER Discussion was held concerning the repeal provision option by local governments in Palm Beach County to repeal Article VII pertaining to the Countywide Planning Council within 30 days within the fifth year anniversary (January 1, 1992). This item was forwarded to the Regular Session Agenda of December 12, 1991. AIR PACK MODIFICATION Discussion took place concerning a budget transfer to fund modifications to existing air packs on rescue units in order to pass NFPA standards. This will be placed on the Regular Session Agenda of December 12, 1991. SURPLUS EQUIPMENT - PATROL BOAT MOTOR The Council discussed the request surplus, and to authorize staff motor. This was forwarded to December 12, 1991. to declare a patrol boat motor as to use it as trade-in for a new the Regular Session Agenda of BUDGET TRANSFER - EMPLOYEE PHYSICAL Discussion was held concerning the request of golf course ^,. maintenance employee Henry Rudolph for a physical. VILLAGE MANAGER'S INVESTIGATIVE REPORT Minutes of Workshop Session Held Thursday, November 14, 1991 Discussion was held concerning the Village Manager's investigative report concerning allegations made by Councilman Grinn regarding the Finance Director. This was not forwarded to a Regular Session Agenda. PRIDE AWARENESS WEEK Discussion was held concerning Pride Awareness Week in the Village of North Palm Beach. Vice Mayor Pierman requested a proclamation be issued to declare the last week of March 1992 as Pride Awareness Week.
