RE: Budget Workshop Minutes - Tuesday, July 9, 1991
DATE: July 10, 1991
The following represents the North Palm Beach Village Council's
workshop session discussing the Country Club budget. Mayor Jerry
._, Gardner convened the meeting at 7:00 p.m. All Council members
except Councilman Judy Pierman were present. In addition, the
Village Manager, Finance Director, Mr. Bill Lanthier, Golf Course
Maintenance Superintendent, Mr. Dick Voss, Vice Chairman of the
Country Club Administrative Board were present. Also present were
Board members Mr. Frank Shone and Mrs. Lucia Traugott. The
following items were discussed with the following changes:
REVENUE
1. L3200-07200 - Golf Lease from $3,000 to $0.
2. L3700-08200 - Restaurant Assessment from $74,460 to $0.
Tennis (12$ fee increase)
3. L2150-03261 - Guest Fees from $16,500 to $18,480.
4. L2150-03262 - Rental of Courts from $6,300 to $6,300.
5. L2150-03641 - Resident from $30,050 to $33,656.
6. L2150-03642 - Nonresident from $39,100 to $43,792

EXPENDITURES
Golf Course Maintenance
1. L8045-11110 - Executive Salaries (5$) from $42,075 to
$41,288
2. L8045- - Bonus (2$) from new account to $826.
3. Lengthy discussion pursued regarding capital expenditures
for golf course maintenance; said discussion evolved into
capital projects package developed by the Country Club
Administrative Board and the prospective loan to finance
those capital projects.
4. L8050-66210 - Construction and Major Renovation - Soft
Courts (tennis). In concert with the 12~ fee increases
for tennis revenues, consensus was to retain the $80,000
for renovation from the four hard courts to Har-tru
courts.
Meeting closed on Account L8045-66210 - Capital Outlay Construction
and Major Renovation.
Meeting adjourned at 10:00 p.m. with the final item of discussion
being various alternatives and options. for financing different
Country Club capital projects.
This memorandum will represent and serve as the minutes of the
above stated Village Council workshop for the FY 91-92 budget.
