AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING DIVISION 4 OF CHAPTER 2 OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH CODE,
PENSION AND CERTAIN OTHER BENEFITS FOR FIRE AND POLICE EMPLOYEES TO COMPLY
WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF CHAPTER 86-41 OF THE LAWS OF FLORIDA; AND
j PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREFOR.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA:

Section 1. Section 2-163 of the Village of North Palm Beach
Code is hereby amended by adding thereto a Subsection 2-163(c), which
shall read as follows:
(c) Member Contributions. Each member shall contribute
towards the cost of the system One Percent (1%) of his/her salary as
required by Chapters 175 and 185, Florida Statutes. Such contributions
may not be used to reduce what would have otherwise been required Village
contributions.
Section 2. TMs ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
passage.
