Mayor Pierman called the meeting to order at 9:13 p.m. All members
of Council were present. Village Manager Dennis Kelly was present.
The Village Council made the following changes to the draft budget:
The tentative millage rate was changed from the proposed 4.60 to
4.50.
,,..~ The Utility Tax remained at 6 0, as proposed.
In the General Fund Reserve, COL and Benefits was reduced from
$123,000 to $82,000.
The Village Manager stated that the State Revenue Sharing final
estimates had been received, and reflected a decrease from $227,000
to $218,000.
The Finance Director is to make calculation adjustments and prepare
a summary with a balanced budget under the 4.5 millage rate. The
consensus of Council was to advertise the tentative millage rate as
4.5 mills, which is an increase of .237 mills over the rollback
rate of 4.263. This represents a 5.56°s millage rate increase.
Having reached the curfew of 11:00 p.m., the meeting adjourned.
