VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
HELD MONDAY, JULY 6, 1992

ROLL CALL
Mayor Pierman called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. All members
of Council were present. Village Manager Dennis Kelly and Finance
Director Shaukat Khan were present.
The following changes were made to the draft budget:
Library:
Account 7927-34320 (Water and Sewer) was reduced from $2,300 to
... $1,800.
Account 7927-66415 (Computer Hardware & Software) was changed from
$2,015 to $0.
Account 7927-66610 (Books & Publications) was increased from
$35,000 to $37,000.
Recreation•
Account 8028-33491 (Other Contractual Services) was changed from
$28,000 to $0.
Account 8028-34620 (R & M-Building & Grounds) was increased from
$15,840 to $21,840.
The consensus of Council was to add $6,000 to resurfacing tennis
courts at both Anchorage Park and the free tennis courts at the
Country Club.
The staff was directed to change the organization charts of the
Village Clerk, Village Manager and Village Attorney to include the
Village Council in the charts.
No changes were made to Special Events budget and Village Clerk's
budget.
The consensus of Council was to make appropriate changes and take
appropriate actions on the following issues:

EMS Department - Certified Paramedics:
Reflect listing of other certified paramedics hired by the Village,
but not necessarily listed in the EMS budget (cross-reference these
individuals back to their respective budgets).
CCAB - Grass Maintenance:
Send memo to Country Club Administrative Board clarifying their
responsibility to maintain grass outside the fencing to the free
tennis courts next to the driving range.
Recreation:
The staff was directed to process acquisition of one cash register
from the FY 1991-92 budget to the next available Council agenda.
Village Clerk:
The staff was directed to process acquisition of Lanier recording
"~ machine from the FY 1991-92 budget to the next available Council
agenda.
The next budget workshop will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 1992 at
7:00 p.m. and will begin with the Reserve Account.
