,,r Mayor Pierman called the meeting to order at 8:15 p.m. All members
of Council were present. All members of staff were present except
the Village Clerk, who was out of town.
UPDATE ON GLADWIN VS. VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH
Barry Byrd, legal representative for the Village Council in the
Gladwin case, was present to report to the Council on the court
decision in this case, which supported the Village of North Palm
Beach. The court's ruling in this case will be placed before the
Code Enforcement Board for final resolution.
MUNYON ISLAND TOUR
Upon invitation by Richard E. Walesky, Director of Environmental
Resources Management for Palm Beach County, individual members of
Council who wish to tour Munyon Island will do so July 8, 1992 at
2:00 p.m.
APPEAL BY CHRISTOPHER'S FLORIST
Discussion was held concerning an appeal by Christopher James of
Christopher's Florist regarding the Planning Commission's denial of
their sign application. This item was forwarded to the Regular
Session agenda of July 9, 1992.
REZONING OF LITTLE MUNYON ISLAND
Discussion took place concerning the referral of Little Munyon
Island to the Planning Commission for rezoning from C-1A to C-OS
Minutes of Workshop Session
Held Thursday, June 25, 1992
for the purpose of bringing the zoning into conformance with the
Comprehensive Plan. This appeal will be placed on the Regular
Session agenda of July 9, 1992.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the
meeting adjourned at 9:25 p.m.
