VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
HELD TUESDAY, JUNE 30, 1992

ROLL CALL
Mayor Pierman called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. All members
of Council were present except Vice Mayor Kelsey, who arrived at
approximately 7:15 p.m. Members of staff present were Village
Manager Dennis Kelly and Public Services Director Charles O'Meilia.
The Council made the following changes to the draft budget:
Planning and Community Development
5206-33193 - Space Study - Village Hall
Reduced from $3,000 to $0.
5206-33197 (New Account) - Shoreline Protection - FIND Project
Increased from $0 to $48,800.
sanitation
7020-34340 - Solid Waste Disposal
Council reserved its right to address this line again in the
future, pending a prospective updated cost figure from Palm
Beach County Solid Waste Authority.
7020-35300 - Recycling Program
This will be reclassified from Operation and Maintenance
category to a Personnel Cost category for $15,000.
Village Council
4801-34010 - Travel was reduced from $2,095 to $0.
4801-35420 - Membership and Dues was reduced from $4,657 to
$685.
Minutes of Budget Workshop
Held Monday, June 22, 1992
FIND Grant, and the remaining $24,400 will be split between
the Country Club Fund and the General Fund.
$12, 200 will need to be expensed from the Country Club Fund as
a transfer to the General Fund wherein it becomes a revenue
source to the General Fund.
The General Fund will need to net an expense increase of
$12,200 for its share of the 50o split of the 50% match.
Review of the Country Club budget was completed through
"Administration."
The meeting adjourned at 10:00 p.m, with the next budget workshop
to be held on Tuesday, June 23, 1992.
