ROLL CALL
Mayor Pierman called the meeting to order at 8:55 p.m. All members
of Council were present except Councilman Vastola, who arrived at
9:05 p.m.
BUDGET TRANSFER - EMS MEDICAL SUPPLIES
Discussion was held concerning a request from the Public Safety
Department to transfer funds from Account A5711-11210 (Regular Pay)
to Account A6416-35240 (Medical & Safety Supplies) in the amount of
$2,000.00 to cover anticipated shortfall for medical and safety
supplies. This item will be placed on the Regular Session agenda
of June 25, 1992.
BUDGET TRANSFER - PUBLIC SAFETY AUTO PARTS & SUPPLIES
Discussion took place concerning a'request from the Public Safety
Department to transfer funds from Account A5711-11210 (Regular Pay)
to Account A5711-35218 (Auto Parts & Supplies) in the amount of
$4,000.00 to cover anticipated shortfall in Auto Parts & Supplies.
This was forwarded to the June 25th Regular Session agenda.
"WE CARE" PROGRAM
Bruce Sekeres, Director of Public Safety, reported to the Council
on the status of the "We Care" program. Chief Sekeres reported
that the program is on-going, has met with success, but needs to
expand into the single-family residential areas. Chief Sekeres
also stated that one officer has received special training for bike
patrol, and that patrol has already begun.
4TH OF JULY ACTIVITIES
Mark Hodgkins, Recreation Director, reported on the schedule of
events planned for the 4th of July festivities which will be held
at Osborne Park and the North Palm Beach Country Club.

BUDGET WORKSHOP SCHEDULE
Discussion was held concerning the Council's Budget Workshops. The
Village Manager reported that the schedule has been revised, which
will move all meetings forward by one week. A revised schedule
will be provided, with the first Public Hearing on the proposed
budget for 1992-93 being scheduled for August 27, 1992.
UPDATED SCHEDULE FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS
Discussion took place concerning a proposed ordinance and
resolution which revises the 5-year schedule of improvements, 1991-
1995, as currently stated in the Comprehensive Plan. The ordinance
was forwarded to the Regular Session agenda of June 25, 1992, and
the resolution will be placed on the Regular Session agenda of July
9, 1992.
DATE OF EXECUTIVE SESSION SET
The Council will meet in Executive Session on Monday, June 15, 1992
at 6:30 p.m. to discuss collective bargaining agreements.
Prior to adjournment, the Village Manager was directed to
investigate the delinquent taxes and penalties owed by the
restaurant lessee, Armando Denaro.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the
meeting adjourned at 10:00 p.m.
