VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
HELD WEDNESDAY, MAY 20, 1992

Mayor Pierman called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. All members
of Council were present. Members of staff present were Charles R.
O'Meilia, Acting Village Manager, and Shaukat Khan, Finance
Director.
PURPOSE OF MEETING
The purpose of the meeting was to review employee group health
proposals.
~ Discussion was held concerning various options that might lower
insurance costs to the Village without a negative impact to the
employees.
The Council will address this issue again in July, when Florida
League of Cities will have established their rate increase and can
give definite numbers.
With no further business to come before the Council, the meeting
adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
