Mayor Pierman called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. All members
of Council were present. All members of staff were present except
the Village Attorney. By consensus, the Council excused the
Village Clerk from the workshop.
PURPOSE OF MEETING
„~ The purpose of the Special Workshop was to discuss Council concerns
and goals.
LONG-RANGE GOALS
The following items were discussed as Council goals:
Acquisition of Schwencke property
Purchase of duplex apartments next to Village Hall property
Public Safety substation north of Parker Bridge
Refashion fairways at Country Club Golf Course
Remodel Country Club building
Beautification of marina area, and overall Village
beautification, with resident participation and fund-raising
projects
Additional ball fields at Anchorage Park
Additional fire/medic coverage
Pool and tennis representation on Country Club Administrative
Board
Periodic meetings between Council and Village representatives
to outside Boards

Capital improvements/maintenance for Recreation and Public
Works
The Special Workshop recessed at 7:00 p.m. for the purpose of
convening an Executive Session, and reconvened at approximately
7:25 p.m.
Twin City Mall rejuvenation
President Pro Tem Marks left the meeting at 7:50 p.m. due to a
prior commitment.
Shoreline beautification
Review of Code of Ordinances
Development of Village brochure
NAMAC for police
....
Distribution of village Newsletter to commercial
establishments
Consideration of Municipal League membership
Prioritizing of goals will be determined at a later date.
With no further business to come before the Council, the meeting
adjourned at approximately 8:15 p.m.
