Ordinance 1986-020 Adopts Standard Gas Code 1985 EditionORDINANCE N0. 20-86
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING CHAPTER 13 OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH CODE, THE GAS CODE
FOR THE VILLAGE, BY ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THERETO THE STANDARD GAS CODE,
1985 EDITION, AND SETTING FORTH AMENDMENTS TO SAID STANDARD GAS CODE.
' BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following sections of the Village of North Palm
Beach Code are hereby amended to read as follows:
"Sec._ 13-1.__ADOPTED_BY_ REFERE_N_C_E---Under the authority of
Section 553.73~~Flori~a statutes, the Village of North Palm
Beach hereby adopts by reference thereto the Standard Gas
Code, 1985 Edition, including Appendix B, as the Gas Code for
the Village. There has been at least ten days last past and
shall be during the time that this code is in effect, three
copies of such code .and recommended amendments kept available
for public use, inspection and examination."
'Sec. 13-2. AMENDMENTS, CORRECTIONS AND ADDITIONS TO CODE.

The following amendments, corrections and additions to the
Standard Gas Code, 1985 Edition, are hereby made and adopted;
said amendments, corrections and additions being set forth
herein with reference to and prefaced by the section number
and title of said amendments, as follows:
Delete Chapter 1, Administration, and substitute Chapter 1 of
the 1985 Edition of the Standard Building Code.
Sec. 101. SCHEDULE OF PERMIT FEES. Add a new section.
Sec. 101. See Chapter 6, Article II, of the Village Code.
Sec. 102. STORAGE TANKS. Add new section.
Sec. 102. Above ground gas storage tanks are not permitted.
Sec. 308.3 BURIED BUILDING PIPING. Delete entire]y.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
passage.
