Ordinance 1986-013 Rephrasing Question at Referendum ElectionURDINANCE N0. 13-86
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING
ORDINANCE N0. 11-86, SAID AMENDMENT REVISING SECTION 3 OF SAID ORDINANCE
REPHRASING THE FORM OF THE QUESTION TO BE VOTED UPON AT THE REFERENDUM ELECTION,
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 11-86 of the Village of North
Palm Beach shall be amended to read as follows:
"Section 3. REFERENDUM REQUIRED BEFORE SALE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY OWNED
BY VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH.
' "Amendment to Charter of Village of North Palm Beach providing that
sale, lease or improvement of certain Village owned real property dedicated or
used for parks or recreational purposes be made only after approval by
four-fifths (4/5ths) of Council and two-thirds (2/3rds) vote of electorate."
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage.
PLACED ON FIRST READING THIS 15TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1986.
PLACED UN SECUND READING AND PASSED UN AN EMERGENCY BASIS THIS 15TH DAY OF
SEPTEMBER, 1966.
