RE: BUDGET WORKSHOP -MONDAY, JULY 12, 1993
This memorandum serves as the minutes of the budget workshop session of the Village Council of
the Village of North Palm Beach for Monday, July 12, 1993. Mayor V. A. Marks convened the
meeting at 7:00 p.m. All Council members were present except Councilman Atwater; in addition,
also in attendance were the Village Manager, Finance Director, Public Safety Director and Public
Safety Captain during the law enforcement portion of the budget and the Fire Chief during the fire
prevention portion of the budget. Councilman Atwater arrived at approximately 7:45 p.m.
Village Council opened discussions regarding Public Safety in general and, specifically, discussed
the various addendums identified on page 68 of the budget under Account No. A5711 -Public
Safety. The addendums were the sub-station north of Parker Bridge, the security package, the
traffic enforcement unit and the Police Reserve budget.
Based on consensus, the Village Council made the following changes:

Council reached consensus on changing the budget workshop schedule by moving Library and
Recreation Departments up to Tuesday, July 13, 1993, starting with Library first and then moving
in to Recreation and then starting Emergency Medical Services at 8:45 p.m. with an Executive
,,,_ Session at 9:30 p.m.
There being no other business to discuss during the budget workshop, the meeting adjourned at
approximately 9:40 p.m.
