ROLL CALL
Mayor Marks called the meeting to order at 9:05 p.m. All members
of Council were present. All members of staff were present.
BILL 707 - AMENDING ARTICLE II. CHAPTER 9 OF VILLAGE CODE T COUNTRY
CLUB ADMINLSTRATIVE BOARD
~,,,,,~ Discussion was held concerning Bill 707, a proposed ordinance
amending Sections 9-21 (Duties) and 9-22 (Village Manager of
Article II of Chapter of the Village Code of Ordinances. This Bill
was forwarded to the Regular Session agenda of March 25, 1993.
BILL 710 - INCREASING SALARIES OF MAYOR AND VILLAGE COUNCIL
Discussion was held concerning Bill 710, a proposed ordinance
increasing the salaries of the Mayor and the Village Council. No
action will be taken on this proposed ordinance.
BILL 711 - PARKER BRIDGE
Discussion took place concerning Bill 711, a proposed ordinance
regulating the removal of appurtenances for purposes of reducing
Parker Bridge openings. After discussion, the Village Attorney was
directed to proceed further with researching legality and
enforcement of such an ordinance, and to prepare a draft ordinance
based on federal regulations, as well as the ordinance passed by
the City of Ft. Lauderdale. This item will return to workshop.
FALSE ALARM CHARGES
Discussion was held concerning false alarm charges for single-
,,._, family and multi-family dwellings as established in the North Palm
Beach Code of Ordinances. Recommendations by the staff were
reviewed and discussed with Chief Sekeres, with some changes
suggested. The Village Attorney will prepare a letter to Council
with his recommendations. This item will be brought back to a
future workshop.

Discussion took place concerning various golf course equipment, to
be declared surplus. This will be placed on the Regular Session
Agenda of March 25, 1993.
