Mayor Vastola called the meeting to order at 8:07 p.m. All members of Council were
present. All members of staff were present.
RESOLUTION SUPPORTING "CAREER CRIMINAL ACT"
Discussion was held concerning a draft resolution urging the Florida Legislature to enact
the "Officer Evelyn Gort Career Criminal Act" in the 1995 Legislative Session. It was
agreed by consensus that a cover letter will be included with the resolution, if adopted,
,,._ recommending mandatory work programs for career criminals. This was forwarded to the
Regular Session agenda of February 9, 1995.
BUDGET TRANSFER - OSBORNE PARK CELLULAR PHONE
Discussion was held concerning a request by the Recreation Department to transfer
$392.22 from A8229-34420 (Rental Supply) to A8028-34110 (Telephone) for a cellular
phone to be used at Osborne Park. This will be placed on the Regular Session agenda
of February 9, 1995.
DIESEL FUELING OF BOATS AT PRIVATE BOAT DOCKS
Discussion took place concerning a request from resident David Hill, 100 Lehane Terrace,
to amend the Code of Ordinances to allow diesel fueling of boats at private boat docks.
This request was forwarded to the Planning Commission for review and recommendation.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the meeting adjourned at
8:30 p.m.
