ROLL CALL
Mayor Valente called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. All members of Council were
present. Representatives of the Planning Commission and Recreation Advisory Board
were present. Dennis Kelly and Mark Hodgkins were present.
PURPOSE OF THE MEETING
The purpose of the Special Workshop was to discuss the Master Recreation Plan for the
Village as presented by Team Plan, Inc.

Joe Bova, Chairman of the Recreation Advisory Board, told the Council that the Board
had worked closely with Team Plan, Inc., and are pleased with the conceptual plans as
presented, for quality recreational facilities to the Village. Mr. Bova introduced Michael
Redd, President of Team Plan, Inc., who formally presented the Master Recreation Plan
to the Village Council.
Mr. Redd gave an overview of long-range plans for the Community Center, Osborne Park,
Anchorage Park and Country Club, as well as a review of cost estimates.
A representative of Pulte Homes Corporation, Florida Division, was present on behalf of
the Prosperity Harbour Joint Venture, who reviewed their revised plans for property
adjacent to the Community Center; the plans have not yet gone before the Planning
Commission.
There being no further comments to be heard, the meeting adjourned at approximately
8:15 p.m.
