AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 19-18 OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH CODE BY CHANGING THE HOURS WHEN USE OF LAWN SPRINKLING
' WHICH AFFECTS PUBLIC SIDEWALKS TO CERTAIN TIMES BOTH BEFORE AND
AFTER PUBLIC SCHOOL SESSION HOURS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Section 19-18 of the Village of North Palm
Beach Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 19-18. Smoke, dust, odors, liquids, etc.
No owner or occupant of any building, structure or
premises in the village shall cause, allow or permit any smoke,
dust, ::team, odors, fumes, liquids or other obnoxious matters
or things to emanate therefrom over and upon any public street
or sidewalk in the village, unless the same shall be so
' deflected or bona fide attempts made to deflect same away from
persons using such streets or sidewalks so as not to annoy,
vex, irk or bother persons in the use thereof; provided,
however, that water from sprinkler systems may emanate from
private property over and upon sidewalks in the Village, except
from 1z hours before the opening, to 1/2 hours after
the opening, of public schools in Palm Beach County for
kindergarten through twelfth grade, and from 1/2 hours
before the closing, to 1~ hours after the closing, of
public schools in Palm Beach County for kindergarten through
twelfth grade, during those days that Palm Beach County public
schools involving kindergarten through twelfth grade are in
' session."
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon passage.
