ROLL CALL
Mayor Valente called the meeting to order at 9:07 p.m. All members of Council were
present. All members of staff were present.
BILL 796 -ESTABLISHING INVESTMENT POLICY
Discussion was held concerning Bill 796, a proposed ordinance establishing and setting
forth allowable investment activity for Village funds. The Council forwarded this item to
the Regular Session agenda of October 12, 1995.
EMPLOYEES' HOLIDAY SCHEDULE FOR FY 1995-96
Discussion was held concerning the proposed holiday schedule for Village employees for
the 1995-96 Fiscal Year. This item will be placed on the Regular Session agenda of
October 12, 1995.
CANCELLATION OF COUNCIL MEETINGS DURING HOLIDAYS
The Council discussed cancelling its Regular and Workshop Sessions of 11/23/95 and
12/28/95 in observance of Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. This item was
forwarded to the Regular Session agenda of October 12, 1995.
CODE AMENDMENT -CONSTRUCTION OF DOCKS ALONG EARMAN RIVER
Discussion took place concerning a request to modify the Code as it applies to dock
construction along the Earman River. A draft ordinance will be prepared and brought
back to the next Workshop Session on October 12, 1995 for further review by the
Council.

Held Thursday, September 28, 1995
LAND ACQUISITION DISCUSSED FOR PUBLIC SAFETY SITE
Public Safety Director Bruce Sekeres reported to the Council on various properties under
consideration for acquisition for a new Public Safety site. Chief Sekeres presented a
priority list of five properties, and discussed the feasibility of each property, both
economical and operational. The Council directed staff to investigate the availability of
the properties, as well as purchase price. This item will be brought back to another
Workshop Session on October 26, 1995 for further discussion.

There being no further business to come before the Council, the meeting adjourned at
10:12 p.m.
