VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
HELD MONDAY, JANUARY 11, 1993

Dennis W. Kelly, Village Manager
George W. Baldwin, Village Attorney
ROLL CALL
Mayor Pierman called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. All members
of Council were present except Vice Mayor Marks and Councilman
Valente, who had prior commitments, but arrived at approximately
8:30 p.m. Members of staff present were Village Manager Dennis
Kelly, and Village Attorney George Baldwin. All members of the
Country Club Administrative Board were present.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the relationship of the
Country Club Manager to the Council, the Country Club
Administrative Board, and the Village Manager.
Five options were discussed concerning organizational structure,
and where the new position of Club Manager would fit in the
organizational chart.
The job description of the Club Manager as devised by the Country
Club Administrative Board was reviewed, with suggestions for
modification.
Selection of a Club Manager will be made by the Village Council on
Thursday, January 14, 1993 at their Regular Session.
Discussion was held concerning the parameters of the employment
agreement, which will be prepared by the Village Attorney for
Council approval at a Regular Session as soon as possible.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the
meeting adjourned at 9:40 p.m.
