ROLL CALL
Mayor Vastola called the meeting to order at 10:20 p.m. All members of Council were
present except President Pro Tem Kelley and Councilman Valente. All members of staff
were present.
BILLS 884 AND 885 -BUDGET APPROPRIATIONS
,~-. Discussion regarding Bill 884 and Bill 885 were postponed until the Workshop Session
of May 8, 1997.
COMMUNITY CENTER PROJECT -CONSTRUCTION SERVICES AGREEMENT
Discussion was held concerning authorization of a construction services agreement
between Howard Searcy, Consulting Engineer, and the Village of North Palm Beach.
This will be placed on the Regular Session agenda of May 8, 1997.
COMMUNITY CENTER DESIGN SERVICES -CHANGE ORDERS
Discussion was held concerning a requested change order from the Village Engineer,
Howard Searcy, for additional design services associated with the added scope of work
for the North Palm Beach Community Center ball field project. This item was forwarded
the to the Regular Session agenda of May 8, 1997.
REORGANIZATION PLAN -MUNICIPAL LEAGUE
Discussion took place concerning a proposed reorganization plan by the Palm Beach
County Municipal League and associated increased funding and additional special
assessment of cities for legal fees resulting from school concurrency issue. This will be

PERSONNEL RULES AND REGULATIONS
Brief discussion was held concerning the revised Personnel Rules and Regulations for
the Village of North Palm Beach. This was forwarded to the Regular Session agenda of
May 8, 1997.
