A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPOINTING AN ALTERNATE CODE
ENFORCEMENT SPECIAL MAGISTRATE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS;
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, through the adoption of Resolution 2010-56, the Village Council appointed a Code
Enforcement Special Magistrate and an alternate Code Enforcement Special Magistrate; and
WHEREAS, David W. Schmidt, the Village's alternate Code Enforcement Special Magistrate,
resigned his position effective August 22, 2011; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council wishes to appoint B. Douglas MacGibbon, the person receiving
the next highest number of votes during the original selection process, as the new alternate Code
Enforcement Special Magistrate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing"whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby appoints B. Douglas MacGibbon to serve as the
Village's alternate Code Enforcement Special Magistrate.
Section 3. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to
the extent of such conflict.
Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 22nd DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 2011.
