ROLL CALL
Mayor Eissey called the meeting to order at 9:00 p.m. All members of Council were present. All
members of staff were present.
HERB WATT BUILDING
Discussion was held concerning the current use of the Herb Watt Building, and its accessibility
deficiencies. Staff was directed to have the engineer include a greenspace plan into his study.
This will be brought back to a future workshop.
SPRINT CELL TOWER
Discussion was held concerning site planning element of proposed cell tower lease agreement.
An Agreement will be prepared by Sprint for the Regular Session of October 28, 1999, and will
include the same changes as were made to the Nextel contract during the Regular Session.
Additionally, the staff was directed to look into the option of co-locating.
COUNCIL MEETING SCHEDULE FOR NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER
Discussion was held concerning the meeting schedule for November and December. By
consensus, the Council agreed to reschedule the November 11, 1999 meeting to Wednesday,
November 10, 1999, due to Veteran's Day observance. Additionally, the meetings of 11/25/99
and 12/23/99 will be cancelled, due to Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday observance.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to come before the Council, the meeting adjourned at 9:45 p.m.
