OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
HELD THURSDAY, OCTOBER 26, 2000

ROLL CALL:
The meeting was called to order at 9:45 p.m. All members of the Council were present. All
members of staff were present.
APPLICANT SCREENING -TENNIS PROFESSIONAL
Numerous members of the public were present to address the Council on this matter, asking that
consideration be given to allowing members of the North Palm Beach tennis club to participate
in the applicant screening process.
The consensus of Council was to have three Tennis Professionals to do the applicant screening
and to make a recommendation of five applicants to the Country Club Advisory Board, who
should rank the shortlist of five and send to the Village Council with a recommendation.
This will be placed on the Regular Session agenda of November 9, 2000.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Tringali announced that, due to an increasing number of volunteers for the north
substation committee, he was reconstituting the committee to keep it at the staff level as
originally proposed.
Having approached the 11 p.m. curfew, the meeting recessed. The Workshop will reconvene on
Thursday, November 2, 2000 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
