AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILi.AGE OF NORTH PAiM BEACH, FIARIIaA, AMENDING
CHAPTER 12 OF THE VIIJ.AGE OF NORTH PAiM BEACH CODE, THE FIRE PREVENTION CODE
FOR THE VILLAGE, BY ADOPTING BY I2EFERII4CE THERETO THE STNADARD FIRE PREVENTION
CODE, 1979 IDITION, AND SETTING FORTH AMETIDMENi'S TU SAID STADIDARD FIRE
PREVENTION CODE.
BE IT ORDAINID BY THE VIIJAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Section 12-16 of the Village of North Palm Beach Code
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 12-16. ADOPTID BY REFERENCE - Under the authority
o ection on tatutes, the Village of North
Palm Beach hereby adopts by reference thereto the Standard
Fire Prevention Code, 1979 Edition, as the Fire Prevention
Code for the Village. There has been for at least ten days
last past and shall be ding the time that this code is in
effect, three copies of such code and recommended amendments
kept available for public use, inspection and exmtdnation."
Section 2. Section 12-17 of the Village of North Palm Beach Code
is hereby amended to read as follows:
' "Sec. 12-17. ANNiS -The follcxaing amendments are hereby
made in the fire prevention code adopted by Section 12-16 above:
(1) Section 2.01 Board of Appeals and Adjustments, is hereby
amended to read as follows:
There is hereby created by the Village Council aboard to be
known as the Fire Prevention Board of Appeals and Adjustments.
The contractors board authorized by Chapter 6 of the Village
Code shall act as the fire prevention board of appeals and
adjustments.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage.
