CRF,ATING THF, OFFICE. OF COUNTRY CLUB BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR AND SETTING
' PORT}[ THF, DUTIES OF THE COUNTRY CLUB BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIllA:
Section 1. Sections 2-102 through 2-103, both inclusive, of
the Village of North Palm Beach Code are hereby repealed.
Section 2, The Village of North Palm Beach Code is hereby
amended by adding two new sections to be numbered Sections 2-1.02 and
2-1.03, which said Sections shall read as follows:
"Sec. 2-102. Business Administrator - Appointment.
The Country Club Business Administrator shall be appointed
by the Village Manager and confirmed by the Village Council.
"Sec. 2-103. Same - Duties. The Country Club Business
Administrator shall plan, promote, organize and coordinate
' a comprehensive Country Club program and administer the
same in the interests of the members of the North Palm Beach
Country Club and in the interests of the entire commwiity,
and steal].:
(1) Coordinate golf course area. Coordinate the
use and maintenance of the North Palm Beach
golf course, putting greens, golf driving
range, the pro shop, bag and cart storage,
cart shed, golf carts, and all facilities
needed to carry out the Country Club golf
program. He shall further see to the enforce-
ment of terms and provisions of any contract
with a golf professional.
(2) Swiimning pool activities. Coordinate the use
and maintenance of the North Palm Beach
swimring pool, locker room areas and pool
deck area. He shall further see to the
enforcement of terms and provisions of any
contract with a swimming professional.
(3) Tennis courts activities. Coordinate the
use and maintenance of North Palm Beach tennis
courts and pro shop, located on the northern
t side of the clubhouse. }{e shall further see
to the enforcement of terms and provisions
of any contract with a tennis professional.
(4) Snack bar, lounge and dining room. Administer
the use and maintenance of the Country Club
snack bar, cocktail lounge and dining room
areas and other food and beverage areas
through enforcement of contract provision
with concessionaires or through direct
supervision of Country Club employees.
' (S) Business activities. Organize, coordinate and
supervise the various aspects of membership,
membership charges, purchasing, correspondence
and other responsibilities as assigned by the
Village Manager.
(6) Conduct Country Club activities. Organize
and conduct all forms of recreational,
athletic or social activities appropriate
to the use of the Country Club facilities
that will promote the enjoyment of the Village-
ocvned Cowrtry Club by members of the Country
Club and the residents and taxpayers of the
c onunun ity . "
Section 3. Sections 2-122 and 2-123.1-3, both inclusive,
of the Village oi' North Palm Beach Code are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
passage.
