AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLA( OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING CHAPTER 4 OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH CODE (ANIMALS AND FOWL)
TO BETTER CLARIFY WORDING OF SECTION 4-27, PARAGRAPH (d), AND Tn MODIFY SECTION
4-30 TO ALLOW A $3.00 PER DAY BOARDING FEE IN ADDITION TO THE $10.00 REDEMPTION
' FEE.
BE IT ORDAINID BY THE VILLAGE OOiJNCII. OF NORTH PAiM BEACH, FLORIIIA:
Section 1. That Sectian 4-27(d) of the Village of North Palm Beach
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 4-27(d The provisions of paragraphs (a) through (c)
sha not app y to dogs leading blind persons, nor shall the
provisions of paragraphs (a) through (c) apply to dogs and cats
being exhibited at pet shows or dog training schools during the
time said shows and training schools are being conducted, all of
which mist be within the confines of premises and areas set out
in paragraphs (a) through (c) above."
Section 2. That Section 4-30 (c) of the Village of North Palm Beach
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 4-30(c). Redemption by owner. Within forty-eight (48)
hours t er ter, a owner o suc g or cat may apply for its
release, and such release shall be granted providing the owner
shall have paid whatever fines, if any, may have been imposed for
the violation of this chapter, and providing the owner shall also
pay a pick up fee of ten dollars ($10.00) plus a boarding fee of
three dollars ($3.00) for each day the dog or cat is impounded
following the first day of impowtdment."
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage.
