ROLL CALL
Mayor Aubrey called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. All members of Council were present, except
Councilman Hernacki, who was recovering from an auto accident. All members of staffwere present.
APPLICANT INTERVIEWS
Interviews were conducted with applicants to the Golf Advisory Board and the Planning
Commission. The following persons were present for interviews with the Village Council:

RESOLUTION 2011-16 -APPOINTING MEMBERS TO VILLAGE BOARDS
A motion was made by Vice Mayor Norris, seconded by Councilman Gebbia and passed unanimously,
to appoint Jim Bender as the Men's Golf Association representative and Lois Gruen as the Women's
Golf Association representative to the Golf Advisory Board.
By written ballot, the original of which is attached to the minutes of record, the Council appointed
Steve Mathison as a regular member, Kirk Harris as the 1st alternate member, and Curtis Witters as
the 2nd alternate member of the Golf Advisory Board.
By written ballot, the original of which is attached to the minutes of record, the Council appointed
Susan Bickel as the 2nd alternate member of the Planning Commission.

A motion was made by Vice Mayor Norris, seconded by President Pro Tem Manuel, and passed
unanimously to reappoint incumbent advisory board members as follows:

RESOLUTION 2011-16 -APPOINTING MEMBERS TO VILLAGE BOARDS continued
• Thereafter, the names ofthose appointed were entered into Resolution 2011-16.
A motion was made by President Pro Tem Manuel, seconded by Vice Mayor Norris and passed
unanimously, to adopt Resolution 2011-16 entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE AUDIT COMMITTEE, GOLF ADVISORY BOARD,
LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD, PLANNING COMMISSION, POLICE AND FIRE PENSION
BOARD, RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD, WATERWAYS BOARD, AND ZONING BOARD
OF ADJUSTMENT; APPOINTING A VILLAGE HISTORIAN; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to come before the Council, the meeting adjourned at 7:25 p.m.
