George Baldwin, Village Attorney

ROLL CALL
Mayor Norris called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. All members of Council were
present. All members of staff were present.
The purpose of the Special Session was to rank the top three candidates for the position
of Village Manager.
By written ballot, copies of which are attached to the Minutes of record, the Village
Council selected and ranked three applicants for the position of Village Manager, as
follows: Paul Leonard, Dennis Redmond, and Bennett Boucher.
Councilman Eissey moved that Village Attorney George Baldwin and Consultant Colin
Baenziger begin negotiations with first choice Paul Leonard.
Councilman Noel moved to amend the motion by adding Mayor Norris to the negotiating
team. Councilman Eissey seconded the motion, and all present voted aye.
Thereafter, the main motion passed 5-0.
Consensus of Council was to have the applicant bring forward his salary requirement
first, to be followed by negotiation.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to come before the Council, the meeting adjourned at 8:05 p.m.
