ORDINANCE NO. 17-74
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING CHAPTER 45 OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH CODE BY AMENDING
YARD SPACE REGULATIONS IN ZONING DISTRICT R-3 BY REQUIRING 100 FOOT
MINIMUM FRONT YARD SETBACKS FOR PROPERTY FACING U. S. HIGHWAY #1 AND 25
FOOT MINIMUM SIDE YARD SETBACKS WHERE SAID PROPERTY HAS A SIDE YARD ON AN
INTERSECTING STREET.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. Section 45-30(D) (1) (a) of the Village of North Palm
Beach Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"(a) For a main structure of two (2) stories or less, there
shall be a front yard of not less than thirty-five (35) feet
measured from the street line to the front building line,
except along both sides of U. S. #1, no setback less than
one hundred (100) feet in depth measured from the front
building line shall be provided. For a distance of one
block on streets intersecting U. S. #1, measured from the
right-of-way line of said U. S. #1, side yards of at least
twenty-five (25) feet in depth shall be provided."
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
passage.
