AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING CHAPTER 45 OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH CODE, THE ZONING
CODE, BY SETTING BUILDING HEIGHT RESTRICTIONS THROUGHOUT THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. Section 45-36 of the Village of North Palm Beach
Code is hereby amended by adding thereto Subsection (M) to read as
follows:
"M. BUILDING HEIGHT REGULATIONS.
(1) Within the area of the Village of North Palm Beach
which lies North of the Intracoastal Waterway and West of U. S. Highway
No. 1, no building or structure shall exceed sixteen stories or 160
feet. Elevator towers and mechanical apparatus are not restricted to
the 160 foot limit.
(2) Within the area of the Village of North Palm Beach
which lies North of the Intracoastal Waterway and East of U. S. Highway
No. 1,

which lies South and West of the Intracoastal Waterway and West of
U. S. Highway No. 1, no building or structure shall exceed four stories
or 40 feet. Elevator towers and mechanical apparatus are not restricted
to the 40 foot limit."
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon passage.
