ORDINANCE NO. 6-72
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING CHAPTER 10 OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH CODE BY DEFINING
AND REGULATING THE BUSINESS OF BUILDING CONSTRUCTION AND CONTRACTING
IN THE VILLAGE; CREATING THE NORTH PALM BEACH CONTRACTORS BOARD, FIXING
QUALIFICATIONS OF MEMBERS AND PROVIDING POWERS AND DUTIES OF SAID BOARD;
SETTING FORTH CERTIFICATION PROCEDURES AND FEES THEREFOR; PROVIDING
EXEMPTIONS; PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE; AND
SETTING FORTH THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. Chapter 10 of the Village of North Palm Beach
Code be, and the same is hereby, amended to read as set forth in Sections
1 through 11 of Exhibit A attached hereto and by reference made a part
hereof. For codification purposes, each of said section numbers shall
be prefixed by the number 10; for example, Section 1 when codified would
become Section 10-1.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances and all Code
provisions or parts of Code provisions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.

PLACED ON SECOND, FINAL READING AND PASSED THIS 23 DAY OF MARCH, 1972.
