ORDINANCE NO. 205-70
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
CONCERNING RECKLESS DRIVING AND PROVIDING A PENALTY THEREFOR.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Any person who drives any vehicle within
the Village in such a manner as to indicate either a willful or
wanton disregard for the safety of persons or property is guilty
of reckless driving.
Section 2. Driving a motor vehicle while under the
influence of an intoxicating liquor or narcotic or any other
drugs when affected to the extent that the driver's normal
1acul.ties are impaired shall be determined to indicate either a
willful or wanton disregard for the safety of persons or property
in the Village within the meaning of this Ordinance.
Section 3. Any violation of this Ordinance shall be
punished by a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars or im-
prisonment for a term not exceeding sixty days, or by both such
fine and imprisonment.

PLACED ON SECOND, FINAL READING AND PASSED THIS 8TH DAY OF
JANUARY, 1970.
