ORDINANCE NO. 1941-69
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
REQUIRING PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE CONSIDERATION OF ANY PERMITS TO FILL
AND/OR DREDGE SUBMERGED LANDS LOCATED WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF
TIIE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, AND SETTING FORTH NOTICE REQUIREMENTS
OF SI1C}I PUBLIC HEARING.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. Before any petition
to fill or dredge submerged lands located
of the Village of North Palm Beach may be
Council, the advisability of issuing such
or application for a permit
within the corporate limits
considered by the Village
permit shall be considered
at a public hearing at least ten days prior to the meeting at which such
petition or application shall be considered by the Village Council.
Section 2. Notice of said public hearing shall be given not
less than ten days prior to the public hearing by means of the Village
Newsletter or other direct mail to all residents of the Village of
North Palm Beach and also by posting in three conspicuous places in
the Village of North Palm Beach, one of which places shall be at the
Village Hall.
Section 3. The terms of this Ordinance shall be in addition
to any terms set forth in Ordinance Nos. 16, 24 or 31 of the Village
of North Palm Beach, which are concerned with applications for dredge
and fill permits, and shall not be considered to be in lieu of any
requirements contained in those ordinances.

PLACED ON SECOND, FINAL READING AND PASSED THIS 28TH DAY OF AUGUST,
1969.
