ORDINANCE NO. 147-67
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 7,
AS HERETOFORE AMENDED, WHICH REGULATES THE BUSINESS OF MANUFACTURING, SELLING OR IN ANYWISE
DEALING IN LIQUORS, WINES, RFFRS OR OTHER BEVERAGES CONTAINING MORE THAN ONE PERCENTUM OF
ALCOHOL BY WEIGHT AND OTHER MATTERS; B! PROVIDING EXCEPTIONS TO THE LIMITS OF THE LOCATION
OF PLACES OF BUSINESSES WHERE SUCH BEVERAGES MAY BE SOLD IN RELATION TO CHURCHES, SCHOOLS,
HOSPITALS, PARKS AND PLAYGROUNDS, AND OTHER LICENSED RETAIL SELLERS OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1 Section 12 of Ordinance 7 of the Village of North Palm Beach, as amended
by Ordinance No. 133-66, be and the same is hereby further amended by adding thereto an addi-
tional paragraph to read as follows:
"Section 12. Areas within which licenses shall pot be issued.

The restrictions of this Section which state in part that no
license shall be issued under this ordinance where the proposed
place of business is within 1000 feet of a place of business of
another licensed retail seller of alcoholic beverages shall not
apply to hotels or motels containing 100 or more guest rooms or
to restaurants containing indoor seats for 200 or more patrons,
provided that the said hotel., motel or restaurant shall not con-
tain a store front in connection with said business and said
business shall only be entered from within the interior of said
hotel, motel or restaurant. The restrictions which state in part
that no license shall be issued under this ordinance where the
proposed place of business is within 1000 feet of a church, public
or.private school, hospital, park or playground shall apply to
hotels, motels or restaurants regardless of the number of guest
rooms or indoor seats."
