The Director of Public Safety is hereby directed. to perform the duties of the Chief of Police as set forth in Ordinance No. 12. Section 2. Ordinance No. 12 be and_ it is hereby amended by substi- __ . tuting the words "Director of Public Safety" for the words "Chief of Police" wherever found in that Ordinance. Section 3. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 12 is hereby amended. by changing the last sentence thereof to read as follows: -- "Should the report so obtained. show that such person has a -_ criminal record, or is of an moral character, then such application for an identification card shall be denied." __ Section 4.
