2. MOTION TO READ ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING MILLAGE RATE
Consider a motion to approve
first reading of Bill 1213, a proposed ordinance establishing and adopting the ad valorem tax millage rate
for the fiscal year commencing 10/1/06 and ending 9/30/07. Discussion by Council or public shall be
withheld until Public Hearing.
3. MOTION TO READ ORDINANCE ADOPTING BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2006-2007
Consider a motion to approve first reading of Bill 1214, a proposed ordinance adopting the Budget for fiscal
year 2006-2007. Discussion by Council or public shall be withheld until Public Hearing.
4. PUBLIC HEARING ON AD VALOREM TAX ORDINANCE AND BUDGET ORDINANCE
a. Statement of percentage increase in millage over the rolled-back rate.
b. Administration presents the proposed budget highlights, tentative millage rate, and Council’s
consensus budget adjustment.
c. Village receives public comment on proposed tax and proposed budget.
d. Council consideration and discussion of budget amendments; decision to amend or maintain tentative
ad valorem tax millage rate.
e. Motion to amend (or maintain) tentative ad valorem tax millage rate and vote on 1st Reading of
Bill 1213, a proposed ordinance establishing and adopting the ad valorem tax millage rate for the fiscal
year commencing 10/1/06 and ending 9/30/07.
f. Announcement of Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. as date and time of final Public Hearing
on tax and budget.
g. Motion to approve amendments to the Budget for fiscal year 2006-2007 and vote on 1st Reading of
Bill 1214 a proposed ordinance adopting the Budget for fiscal year 2006-2007.

RESOLUTION – HEALTH INSURANCE CORRECTED RATES
a. Consider a motion to adopt a
proposed resolution amending Resolution 2006-39 relating to the provision of health insurance
coverage for Village employees by United HealthCare to correct the amount of employee contributions
for certain types of coverage.

RESOLUTION – DENTAL INSURANCE RENEWAL
b. Consider a motion to adopt a proposed
resolution accepting the renewal proposal of the Guardian Life Insurance Co. for the period beginning
10/1/06 and ending 9/30/07 to provide dental insurance to Village employees at specified rates.

c. Consider a motion to
adopt a proposed resolution adopting the Comprehensive Pay and Classification Plan for FY 2006-07.
